Handy and Gretel: A play about taking control of digital media in the modern world
The path leads past WhatsApp trees, through Facebook foliage to the TikTok clearing. Twitter birds chirp to the murmur of the Instagram stream. Suddenly, it grows quiet. No more YouTube deer to be heard, because…
No signal!
No network!
No GPS!
And now? Now the story begins, in the analog world. Out into nature, meeting other people, experiencing new horizons and perspectives on the world, listening to one’s own voice, strengthening mindfulness for oneself and one’s surroundings.
Handy and Gretel take us along on their journey and let us experience many things anew with them.
The play is for children and young people aged 7–12.
Duration: 45 minutes.
Admission is free.
